Does US colleges care about reputation of my hometown college?

I am enrolling in a college in Turkey this october and I don't want to apply to US colleges as a transfer student since it will be harder than freshman application. What do you suggest? It is english teaching degree so it will be beneficial for US college later on since it will help proving my english proficiency by IELTS score. Or can I apply during my first year of college to start in 2026. I will also apply for full-aid. So you got an idea for which colleges I will apply to.
