Ash winning to Leon makes no sense

So here’s why I think Ash winning to Leon makes no sense and why I think he’ll just end up losing/or tying (because I’ve seen rumors spreading that it might tie). First of all, Ash winning the tournament would be a big step and therefore he would be more mature and to be fair every season he got to shine and seemed more ‘mature’ or skilled he just got nerfed the season afterwards like D&P-B&W, X&Y-S&M (KIND OF got nerfed in a way), and so I will believe that will happen for S&V meaning it would be stupid if he was the world championship winner and got nerfed Secondly as seen on trailers, leaks, etc (yes I’ve done my research), Paldea has gyms, unlike Galar’s who literally all gym leaders would be at an Elite4 trainer level and some even at champion level, the Paldean gym leaders look like strong but average gym leaders and since the whole purpose of the anime is to promote the games, they WOULD have Ash go face the gyms in Paldea? And it would make no sense to make the WCW with a Pikachu that defeated the ace of one of the best Pokémon trainers (the best we know so far) in the whole pokeworld, face gyms like Pikachu would literally sweep and it wouldn’t make sense at all! About Ash losing to Leon I wouldn’t be sad at all as we know that this won’t be the end of Ash, even if he loses the franchise will carry on for many many years and we will probably in 10 or so years (I know it’s such a long wait) see him in a WCtournament once again! At the end of the day, Ash winning would seem conclusive to his story, or atleast what is mirrored by the games (when you beat the best of the best, you basically have won it all). And I think the Pokémon anime would lose a lot of shine if Ash became the winner, at the end of the day Pokemon Journeys is a bout the JOURNEY and not about winning some tournament so even if he loses I’ll be happy !
