[Rant] Families of Central Park. The path is a shared space

Let's assume that three generations of two families all live under one roof and are not in violation of lockdown. I understand that two pushchairs and an entourage of friends and relatives does take up the whole path but I beg of you, please, if you see someone running in the other direction just move over to the left.

Some things can't be helped; the path may be narrow, your dog will dart across my path, your toddler may not spatially aware yet. I understand these things, and know that is some of the fun quirks of being in public. Your unit of 5-10 people blocking everyone's way can.

I shouldn't be hard to spot. I'm very wide, brightly coloured, moving slowly, and making a sound similar to a diesel locomotive with tourettes. Maybe my size means you need to step in an extra half metre than you would otherwise but trust me I'm working on it. At this point, any movement is better than nothing. I'm not asking for special consideration, just a little respect.

Sincerely, an overweight man, who's trying his best but finds running humiliating enough without doing it in the mud.
